This is a documentary created based on the starting point of businesses in Peckham, London. We were lucky enough to come across these two characters to create this documentary. It was a pleasure to have the documentary screened at Peckham's Multiplex cinema following the completion.

Documentary
Coinsidently I had been watching a lot of documentaries recently and our next project at uni was to create a documentary. It will be shown at Peckham Multiplex Cinema and will be influenced by the subject: "Businesses in Peckham".
Here are a few clips which have inspired the documentary I will be creating with my group: Joe, Michelle & Louis.

Unfortunetly in London, doing stupid things and making a fool of yourself doesn't even phase the public. They are just too miserable- liven up.

CYMK
As part of understanding CMYK print, GDC1 created this print to understand how different percentages of each of the colours affect one another when layered up. We each designed the typography for each percentage then the plates were created without knowing which colours would layer up. It was exciting to see an outcome we couldn't predict.

Tatty Devine
I recently had the opertunity to intern in the Press Office at international, hand crafted jewellery brand Tatty Devine. Working with the likes of Vogue in France, Turkey and Spain and also, Grazia, Elle & RWD.
In the peroid I worked with Tatty, we exhibited at London Clothes Show, held a private exhibition in collaboration with Supermarket Sarah & also held craft based events at Craftacular with BUST! magazine, Vintage at Goodwood Festival and The Big Chill Festival.
Tatty Devine is Harriet Vine and Rosie Wolfenden. The two designers set up the company ten years ago, and still run it completely independently. A witty, offbeat brand, Tatty Devine has become a cult classic of British fashion.
Harriet and Rosie still design every piece, and 99% of the jewellery is made by hand in Tatty Devine's own workshops (one in London and one in Kent).
Harriet and Rosie met on Chelsea School Of Art's Fine Art degree course. They found some bags of leather samples on the street one night, and after graduating used the leather to create wrist cuffs which soon sold out every week at Portobello and Spitalfields markets. Harvey Nichols and Browns began to stock Tatty Devine, andVogue shot their first collection on Erin O'Connor and John Galliano for the Millennium issue.
Acrylic silhouette shapes are Tatty Devine's signature style, but you'll also find pieces created in textiles, wood, leather, veneer and enamel. They are continually developing new techniques to produce unique and exciting designs.
The company has a history of collaborating with others, including artists, bands and the fashion world. They were one of the first designers to produce a high street collection back in 2003, for New Look, at the same time as working with avant-garde girl group Chicks on Speed. Ashish, Peter Jensen and Basso & Brooke have all turned to Tatty Devine for statement catwalk pieces, and pieces have been created especially for Rob Ryan, Tate, Selfridges and Gilbert & George.
Rankin shot a dress covered in Tatty Devine brooches to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week, and Dazed & Confused magazine list Tatty Devine as one of the top 50 coolest brands in the world.

The Fight For The Client
We were given the task of creating a sixty second film, however it wasn't so simple as that. There were rules:
Each film had to be based on a randomly selected genre and graphic design related word. The word had to appear in the title and the film had to express its title.

The word 'Chelsea' also had to appear somewhere in each film.
Each and every aspect of the film's production was down to us as a group - Emma Noble, Steven Williams, Alison Coggan & myself. Together we had to write, produce, deisgn, build, storyboard, act, shoot, direct, digitise, edit, composite special effects and everything else!
Synopsis
Two top designers find themselves competing to win a pitch for a huge fashion client. Whoever wins the pitch, gets the amazing opportunity to visit the United States.
They are both prepared to do nything to destroy each other's chances of winning. When the client decides she loves both of their ideas, they are forced to spend time together. The hatred between them slowly transpires into love.
